cruising sonoma: Wine Tasting at Sebastiani

Growing up in wine country, my memories of Sebastiani revolve around packing up the family car to enjoy 4th of July fireworks in their parking lot. Now all grown up, I recently visited the winery, where my eyes were not only opened up to the story of how the winery came to be, but its' direct correlation to the history of the town of Sonoma. If you are looking for a wine tasting experience that brings wine and town history together, stop at Sebastiani.

Visitors can enjoy a wine flight and meander around the tasting room on a self guided tour of carved wood wine tanks and eye catching stained glass windows. If you are looking for a more unique experience, make a reservation for the Founder's Tour & Tasting or add a food component with the Mangiamo Experience. Additionally, tables located outside the tasting room make for a great location to purchase and enjoy a bottle of wine for the afternoon.

If part of your stay in Sonoma Valley involves the weekend, be sure to check out the Friday Night Music Series + Food Trucks. You can still catch the fun this month from 6-9pm by enjoying live music and an array of local food trucks including our very own fig rig (woot-woot) and your favorite bottle of Sebastiani wine.
