venue highlight: Charles Krug
Charles Krug Estate is the picturesque place for an intimate summer reception. Located in the heart of Napa Valley, the Estate is a historic site in and of itself, dating back to 1861. R&A in the photo below said their vows under the heritage oak trees on The Great Lawn at Charles Krug. Their beautiful June wedding last year was held among close family and friends.
In addition to The Great Lawn, there are also two other venue locations at Charles Krug Estate. These include The Redwood Cellar and The Carriage House.
The Redwood Cellar
The cellar room at Charles Krug dates back to 1872. It was recently renovated by Howard Backen and featured in the Architectural Digest.
The rustic space features high, open-beam ceilings, and large windows that look out to the barrel room.
The Carriage House
This historic house was built in 1881 for Charles Krug's wife, Carolina. It was used to house Carolina's horses and carriages.
The Carriage House overlooks beautiful views of the estate.
