The home of famed American novelist, journalist, and social activist. Today, this site is a California State Historic Park, and includes the ruins of the Jack London home (Wolf House), the cottage in which Jack London and his family lived, and the graves of Jack London and his wife. During your visit, you can tour the park and historic properties, hike, picnic, and learn more about the history of Jack London.

The Quarryhill Botanical Garden was created by Jane Davenport Jansen in 1968. Today, it boasts one of North America's largest collections of temperate-climate Asian plants. The property also features waterfalls, ponds, and amazing views of the Sonoma Valley. Visitors are welcome to picnic and tour the beautiful property.

4. Sip From Local Wineries and Vineyards

Like most towns in Sonoma County, Glen Ellen is home to dozens of local wineries and vineyards. Some lovely local places to stop and sip wine in Glen Ellen include Benziger Family Winery, B.R. Cohn Winery, and Talisman Winery.
