Local Fires: Ways to Help & Available Resources - Updated
This post has been updated to reflect our community's most current needs.
As many of you know, for the past several days we have been experiencing severe wildfires across Sonoma and Napa Counties. We've been unbelievably fortunate - so far, our businesses in the area including the girl & the fig, the fig café & winebar, and Murphy's Irish Pub have been unharmed. However, many of our friends and neighbors are facing a very different outcome, and the severity of this situation is unfortunately not over yet.
Everyday, we are amazed by the amount of love and support everyone in this community has for one another. Despite these imminent fire dangers we are all facing, many of you have been asking for ways in which you can help. This truly affirms our belief that together, this amazing community can get through anything.
We have been working with the Rotary Club of Sonoma to help get evacuees and those who have lost everything the essentials they need to take the first steps in overcoming this disaster. We have also been working with our team and volunteers to utilize our resources at Suite D to feed our heroic first responders.
As the situation grows and changes, the needs of our community change with it. If you're still looking for ways to volunteer or donate, please find an updated list of our community's most current needs, below.
