About Last Summer Wines
Wine-maker, artist, and adventure-seeker Jenifer Bartz is the founder of Last Summer Wines. Jenifer dreamed of one day becoming a wine-maker on California's Central Coast, an area she fell in love with for its diverse and quality vineyards. That dream became a reality for her when she founded Last Summer Wines in 2013. Today, Jenifer creates wines for her label with the inspiration that each wine is a piece of art.
Tasting Notes:
Inspired by a trip to Costa Rica, this 2015 Grenache vintage captures the experience of enjoying pure life. With 100% Grenache grapes coming from two Central Coast vineyards, this wine is full of character with flavors of bright strawberry, spiced pepper, and floral notes.
Pairings:
At the girl & the fig we’d recommend pairing Last Summer, 2015 Grenache with our Chicken Thighs (spring onions, asparagus, fingerlings, carrot purée) or Smoked Eggplant (broccoli rabe, oven-dried tomatoes, crispy polenta, salsa verde)
At home enjoy with roasted salmon and lentils.
Cheers!
